I am Shawn K. Francis, the Chief Compliance Officer at Prince George’s Community FCU. I have over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and am a compliance expert. I am a certified compliance officer and have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Madras in Chennai, India. I also have a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College.
I am responsible for ensuring the credit union maintains adequate credit, market, and operational risk and compliance with all NCUA laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures. I also oversee the credit union’s audit coverage, contract procurement, and vendor management.
